Examination Announcement for Position of Cedar Grove Police Officer

Applications for the position of police officer will be available at the Cedar Grove Police Department starting Monday, March 5, 2007.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old and upon appointment, have 60 college credits from an accredited institution; or 30 college credits and 2 years U.S. Military with an Honorable Discharge; or 30 college credits and 2 years police experience with New Jersey Police Training Commission Certification.  All applicants must be capable of acceptance into the NJ Police & Fireman’s Retirement System.  Closing date for applications is May 4, 2007 at 4:00 p.m.
