Narcotics Unit

The primary goal of the Narcotics Unit is to interdict the trafficking of narcotics in the Township.  The Unit has accomplished its goal by meeting several objectives:

1.  To identify and investigate individuals employed in narcotics trafficking. 

2.  To secure advanced narcotics training and additional equipment to facilitate the previous.    

3.  To establish some administrative systems necessary and commonplace to work.

The Narcotics Unit operations has had a tremendous impact on the way that narcotics use and procurement are carried out in the Township of Cedar Grove.

In the upcoming year, the Narcotics Unit will continue to operate in its proactive mode.  The Unit will continue to identify persons trafficking in narcotics and investigate them.
